How to do a mei tai back carry, rucksack style
![]() ![]() Put the body of the mei tai around the child's body, under her arms, and gather them tightly in front. |
![]() Swing the child onto your back. |
Hold on tight to the straps and maneuver the child to the middle of your back. |
![]() Put the shoulder straps between your knees and keep them tight. |
Take the waist straps between the child's legs and spread out the mei tai's body. |
Tie the waist straps on your front, using a secure knot that won't slip. |
Take the shoulder straps out and jump up and down a few times to get the child deeper in the mei tai. |
Lead the shoulder straps over your shoulders and back again. They should be as tight as possible. |
Do a twist on the child's back and take the straps to your front again, under the child's legs. |
Tie with a tight knot in front. You're all set! And... |

Wow, så fabelaktige instruksjonsserier du har laget!
Jeg har alltid lurt på hvordan man får barnet bak på ryggen slik, så viser det seg at man nærmest "slenger det bakover" :-D Fantastisk!
(Bør vel legge til at jeg ikke på noen som helst måte tviler på at det er helt trygt for barnet, det ser bare litt crazy ut når man ikke har gjort det selv).

Tiden har kommet for ryggbæring, takker for lettforklarlig bildeserie! (Nå gjelder det å finne ut om stroppene mine er lange nok...)
